East Africa - a  place of heat, beauty, poverty, famine, dryness, spiritual impoverishment, need. This piece was done as intercession for the needy & unreached of this region of the world. The bowl is the one spoken of in the Book of Revelation which holds the intercession of the saints. Amidst the flames are the names of some of the main unreached tribes of Eastern Africa - symbolic of a prayer for them rising before the throne of God.
