There are times in life when it feels like we're on the anvil. There is a lot of heat and sparks are flying and it seems that there is no relief from the hammering. This picture depicts the heavenly blacksmith using such times to mould us more into His image. Since God is Sovereign and ultimately wants the best for us, we can be safe in His hands, trusting that, as we allow it, He can bring beauty and wonder out of any hard circumstance.
