In the ups and downs of life, one of the names of God that the Bible speaks of is the "Lily of the Valley". If we look to Him in those 'valley' times, we can be assured that His fragrance can be found there. There are 2 types of Lily in this picture. The one that the woman is holding is the Lily of the Valley. the purple one is the African Lily (symbolic of my love for Africa) and the other an Arum lily.
The broken pot appears as a reminder of the beauty that come can out of a broken life yielded to God.
